Missing tooth

lostimagination Uncategorized

Believe it or not, teeth are little social animals. They want to be supported by the teeth that surround them. They want to touch the teeth that they chew against. When a tooth is lost, it starts a chain reaction. The teeth that were next to it begin to move to close the gap, usually tipping and rotating while they move. The teeth that it chewed with begins to elevate out of its socket looking for something to chew against. The loss of just one tooth can begin a chain reaction that ends in the loss of many or all of your teeth. If you care about your teeth, it is important to replace that missing tooth as soon as possible.
